Consultation on Protected Disclosures Act Reform
Published:29 October 2018
Last updated: 8 May 2019
Between 29 October to 21 December 2018, the public were consulted on proposed changes to the Protected Disclosures Act. This involved receipt of comment online, in writing and face-to-face feedback at four workshops. In total, 73 submissions were received and 54 people attended the four workshops. This input will help shape the final bill that goes to Parliament.
Officials have summarised all the comments and submissions received. In line with commitments made when submissions were sought, the submissions will be published in due course. Officials are now preparing advice on policy options for the Government to consider.
