Professor A J Brown, of Griffiths University, Queensland, Australia, spoke to audiences on whistleblowing and on national integrity systems in Wellington on 6 and 7 November 2012 as the guest of the State Services Commission. Whistleblowing is the disclosure by members of an organisation or agency of wrongdoing that is under the control of their employers, to persons or organisations that may be able to effect action.
