What does my agency need to do to put the code of conduct in place?

The State Services Commission has produced material ( to assist agencies to implement the code of conduct.  This includes advice about the roles and responsibilities of staff and a checklist of practical tasks for agencies.  These tasks range from training and communication activities to including the code of conduct’s standards as part of recruitment and performance management processes.  Key aspects of putting the code of conduct in place include promoting awareness of the standards and the process for reporting and investigating suspected breaches.
