High levels of integrity and conduct are vital for high performing, trusted State Services.
The Integrity and Conduct survey is an important tool that measures State servants' perceptions of integrity and conduct in their workplace. It also gauges changes in the levels of integrity and conduct across the State Services.
2013 Integrity and Conduct Survey
Previous integrity and conduct surveys were run by the State Services Commission in 2007 and 2010. The 2013 Integrity and Conduct survey looks more broadly at workplace behaviours in the New Zealand State Services environment to provide more information and to better identify our areas of strength, and areas for improvement. The survey provides a snapshot of how well the State Services were doing on matters of integrity and conduct.
Over 40 State sector agencies participated in this important survey, including Public Service departments, Statutory Crown entities and Crown entity companies. Nearly 15,000 State sector employees completed the survey online. The State Services Commission is very grateful for the assistance given by the participating State sector agencies' Communications, Human Resources, and Information Technology personnel.
